i just love the mountains, i'm from eastern KY so i've lived in Appalachia my whole life, i love it in this part of the country! its different than the wilderness out west, i love it though. all that greenery and the mountains, woods and wildlife, its awesome

we average 10mpg fully loaded cruising 55-60mph on highway. good luck to you!

How expensive was it to buy the bus??? As someone who is looking into van/bus life
we got ours for $6k from auction back in 2021. the cost goes down the bigger the bus (they are more common) and more expensive the smaller (less common)

Good general rule to not travel on weeekends. I have a rule that I need to find my over night spot by 4 p.m. An unfamiliar area while driving at night doesnt usually have good outcomes.
